I would like for you to at least stop parading the new, functionally kaput drivers, and start sharing downloads for the old ones.ĭo you have those 1.1.
I mean, if you're not going to try to add any more cool features or anything, well.

I really like how you can adjust the 7.1 speakers and such things, but I stick with Stereo if I'm perfectly honest.Ĭould you please maybe just, scrap every update past the 1.1.1 drivers, and just start from there again? Just, preserve everything there, but add support for whatever new headsets and such?

As it is, the drivers now offer little in features aside from an equalizer. What happened, guys? An age ago, when the HS-1s were released, we had voice modulation (which, I admit I never really used) and all kinds of other neat stuff. I was hopeful, really, I was, but if the sound quality DECREASES after I upgrade, I am not interested.

If you need software for older computer mice, you can download them from this page. I'm sorry, but they are completely unusable, and if you have a pair of 1500s or 2100s, you really really need to be using the 1.1.1 drivers. Legacy Software Downloads for Computer Mice. Okay, um, Corsair? I love you? Your K90, K70, K70 RGB, HS-1, 1500s, 1500 V2s, all awesome? But.

I'm taking them back to PC World this afternoon as I believe the money would be better spent on something, anything else. Having come here and found that these are literally a re-badged old model with loads of un-addressed issues, I feel like I got conned. This is quite apart from the faffing around swapping between speakers/phones in the windows applet that now (since H2100 installation) takes 1m25s to open. I have some old Sony RF wireless headphones that sound much better than these things and would appear to still last twice as long per charge. With the 50mm drivers these headphones could be outstanding but with the over-amplification they sound like cheap rubbish.
I am sitting here listening to internet radio with all EQ set to zero and volume at '12' in an attempt to reduce distortion but it's just not working. Volume is way too amplified and dolby® settings make things worse. I have, though, been utterly dumfounded at such poor sound quality for £100 headphones. Any ideas? I feel it might have been my outdated, generic sound card but then some places have given me contradicting information about USB headsets having integrated sound cards (again, I do not know this field all that well), others suggest that it is feedback from something in the area, help! i might just have to re-return it and hope the analog fairs better.Ĭorsair Vengeance 2100, cant choose from playback devicesĬorsair Vengeance 1500w Headset White Noise However, after getting on again I noticed the same static pop returned. This time, it worked all evening and into the morning. Unfortunately, at the time, the Fry's i went to did not have the analog version (1300) so I decided to give the 1500 another go, again, because I really enjoyed the sound quality when it worked. Figuring there was a faulty wire with the headset (and after doing some research apparently USB headsets sometimes have these problems) I returned it. I reinstalled the drivers over again and again it worked for a while before it again made the noise. After my initial burst of gaming, I returned to notice the headset had a static//popping noise whenever sound played through it. Anyways, after I finally got through properly installing the drivers for the headset and had it plugged in, it sounded excellent. Sound is perhaps my weakest area of understanding in terms of computers. Okay, I recently purchased a Corsair Vengeance 1500 USB headset from the acclaim of some friends.
